Bisou Awards
Red lips in high gloss, the trophy for the Bisou Awards.
In Dutch, beunhaas is an insult. It’s the guy without the diploma, the one who just has a go at it, the one the professionals warn you about.
I took it as a compliment.
Because that’s how this workshop works. No rulebook, just a problem and the stubbornness to solve it. Print it, break it, print it again. Weld it crooked, grind it back, weld it straight. The first one is never right. That’s what the second one is for.
Beunhaas became Bönhaas. Bönhaas became Bonhaus. The name stuck, and so did the idea: fail forward, try shit out, and never be afraid to get it wrong. Just do it.
